Happy Monday! Writing this post today, I can say that I am the most motivated I have been in months. I always seem to go through periods in my life where I can’t feel inspired; I get unmotivated, depressed, and just plain unhappy. I think most people struggle with this from time to time; our brains just shut down and we coast through life. Well, hopefully reading this post is inspiration enough to get your brain’s gears turning, and motivate you in one way or another.

Happy Thursday! Today I’ll be talking about some of my favorite things at the moment.

Lately, things have been really busy. I just finished up with my finals on Tuesday (I’m not a sophomore anymore, YAY), and I have been extremely stressed. A few posts back I talked about some things that help me destress lately, so you should definitely check that out if you need a little help in that department. This past Sunday I spent the morning brunching with my girlfriends. Honestly, I’ve never been to brunch before, but it was just as magnificent as I imagined. Nothing is better than mimosas and good friends (except for the fact that I was cheers-ing with my coffee because I’m not 21 yet). Nonetheless, it was a fun way to celebrate the end of the semester.

Happy Thursday everyone! It’s finals week here at Texas State, and lemme tell ya, I’m stressed. Stressful weeks like this can really put a damper on a positive attitude, so I have been doing things to calm me down, cheer me up, and make me happier. There are so many tools and tips to use to destress nowadays, and it is in your best interest to use them. First, you have to find things that personally work for you. Today I’ll be sharing with you a few tools that have helped me survive these past few weeks.
