Why You Need a Graphic Designer for Your Blog

Lately, I have been getting a ton of comments on my Facebook page about my new logo and personal brand. About two weeks ago, I made the decision to jump head first into blogging, and do it the right way. I purchased a domain name and I purchased a theme from a theme website called pipdig that I happen to love. My sweet, sweet friend Caitlin CandelariΒ is a graphic designer and when she saw my blog, reached out to me and offered to create some super special graphics for my blog! Hence, my new logo and look was born!

My goal was to make my blog cohesive, and aesthetically pleasing. I also wanted people to know when I was posting content, that it was coming from me. I honestly couldn’t have made my graphics look quite like Caitlin did. She’s amazing! She worked with me to create the perfect look that I had envisioned, but couldn’t get right on my own. Here are a couple of graphics that she’s created for my blog that I get to share with you guys.

There is more to come, and I’m so excited to be friends with such a talented, wonderful gal! Not only does Caitlin design graphics, she and one of her friends have a website called Pink LemonadeΒ where they design art prints, apparel, and some super cute jewelry! Hopefully there will be some more collaboration with Pink Lemonade and I in the near future.

Not only is Caitlin super talented and a complete doll, she is one of the most Godly women I know. She is always striving to love and show up for God, and her brand, as well as Pink Lemonade, truly reflect that. It is so cool to be working alongside a believer such as Caitlin, and that only makes me want to support her even more.

Honestly, I have seen a spike in my page views and growth in my Facebook page since I changed my cover photo and logo on my blog. It’s crazy what aesthetics can do. I highly recommend checking into getting a brand designer (Caitlin, wink wink) to help you create a unique and personal brand that will reflect your brand in the best way possible.

So the answer to the question in the title: if you want to create a unique, personal brand for your blog or website, YES, a graphic designer can definitely help your blog look professional and beautiful. I understand not everyone needs one, but Caitlin really helped to find the look I had been hoping for.

Please go check out Caitlin’s socials, and shoot her a message if you’re interested in getting a whole new beautiful look for your blog or website! Or if you just want a cute t-shirt. πŸ˜‰

I absolutely love your logo! I actually hired a graphic designer when I officially launched my blog but I had such a negative experience I ended up going through and recreating everything myself a few months ago. I might need to get back on the bandwagon though πŸ™‚

I’ve been thinking about getting a logo done and maybe even a professional to design my site instead of using a free theme. It definitely gives you a more professional look and I’m sure it makes your readers come back over and over!
